I have a question. I have two mac minis and one copy of Age Of Empires 2, which I would like to play with my younger brother. I have both minis hooked up to a network and running, but now I have a little problem: Do I need two CDs of AoE2, one for each mini? Can I run the Game with one CD?
And, the second question would be: Is it illegal to make a copy of my cd so i can use the second one on the second mac? I mean, just for my own use, I wouldn't be giving the CD away or anything. It just seems stupid paying another 45 € just for multiplayer.
Do you maybe know a program with which I can make images of cds and mount them like I would on a PC with e.g. Daemon Tools? Isn't there an option for that in that Harddisk-application-thing in the utilities folder? thanks in advance for your help.

You bought one copy and one license of the game to use on one computer at a time. If you'd like to play the game on two computers at the same time, you need to buy another license for the program.

So that's 90€ for two players? It's a great game, but it's not worth that much. You can't ask 90€ from a 15-year-old who just want's to play a game with his brother. Sorry, but that's just stupid.

Yes, 45€ for one player, 90€ for two players, 225€ for five players, and so on.

If you can drop 1000+€ on a pair of Mac minis and (hopefully) 1000+€ on a MacBook, I think it's a bit frivolous to complain about paying 45€ for another copy of the game.
