Hi,

I have a 20 inch iMac Core-Duo which has been working perfectly until I decided to reinstall the OS. I can listen to music on iTunes and pretty much all sounds in my computer do work. However, when trying to watch a video on Quicktime or any internet video (like Cnet for example) its mute! How can I fix this?

Already fixed the problem! If anyone else experiences the same problem here's what u do.

GO TO APPLICATIONS->UTILITIES->AUDIO MIDI SETUP
Where it says PROPERTIES FOR: choose Built-in Output Then change FORMAT to 48000 Hz 2ch-24bit...It happened after I installed Skype....
