now that people have had their intel duo core imacs for a while, the memory upgrades are starting to roll in from crucial. has anyone noticed a marked increase or difference in performance between machines that had their ram upgraded in pairs (two identical sticks = 1gb) or a single stick in the same amount?

how about mismatched pairs?

also, anyone selling their 512 stick after upgrading?

If what you're doing is memory intensive, then you'll see a boost from matching sticks and using dual channel; if it's not, you probably won't.

My 512MB stick is on Craigslist.

PM if you'd like it

I have two available (the original that came from the machine, and the Apple 512MB stick that I purchased before I upgraded to two 1GB sticks).
