Just wondering who those people on this board who doesn't have an apple and are sitting on the fence right now. Are there any questions you'd like to ask to make your decision more easier?

Such as:

How hard is it to learn the Apple Operating System - OSX?
Will I isolate myself from my co-workers software wise?
How much maintainence is required for Apples?

and so on . . . .
I am part of Lakers Nation and love to buy Used Golf Clubs

I don't have a Mac yet, and have held out this long to take the plunge. Unfortunately, I'm going through a bit of a financial blip at the moment, so I may have to hold out another 2-3 weeks before I can get the Intel iMac 20".

Not much point influencing me, I'm bought in emotionally, just not physically!! Can't wait to say bye-bye to the chronic dell PC!!

Have you ever been using Windows (and even Linux sometimes), been doing something, and wondered, "There's got to be a better way to do this!" Well, that "better way" is a Mac. Generally speaking, the people that don't use Macs either have never really used one before or their work requires a PC. I've never met anyone that has used both platforms and prefers Windows over OS X.

after switching over to mac about 6 months ago, I still think that PC is better for pure compatibility, especially on the web.

For instance, i want to watch video clips from NBC's the office from their website. I can't do it on a mac. Also, if there are some songs that i want from the other music subscription services, then i am out of luck. And for ebay, i can write product descriptions in rich text format (different fonts, colors, sizes, underlining, etc) only on the PC in internet explorer.

I would recommend that first time mac users get a G5 for now because that way, there is no headache as to "will it run in rosetta" and there's the added comfort of Virtual PC if a PC environment is needed.

Sorry to say, but the Mac environment does not meet all my needs right now.

My "hold out" questions are:
When will Apple offer HD screens in their laptops? Other OEMs have been offering them for ~3-4 years.
When will Apple offer modular media bays in their laptops? I'd rather have an extra battery than an optical drive 99.5% of the time.
When will the software I want be available for OS X? CATIA and Steam are my biggest roadblocks in this catagory, but there are some other apps I'll miss.
