ok so i have had my emac for just over a year and a half. Right after tiger came out i bought the upgrade version and installed it on my computer. So two days ago i had to reinstall my running program. i first reinstalled panther and then planned on reinstalling the tiger upgrade. However, after reinstalling panther, my computer will no longer boot from the tiger disks. I have tried restarting my computer from the CD, going to system preferences and using the sytem startup tool to selct the CD, and i have rebooted the computer and held down the "C" key. None of these have worked. the CDs are practically brand new, and i have no idea whats going on.
things that i had hooked up to my computer:
-i had an external hard drive for school
-i was using a Mini VGA to VGA adaptor to run mirror monitor on my computer, i had attached to it a 20" mac monitor.
-a head photo to L/R adaptor for a sound system
-a mic
-keyboard and mouse
any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!
