I resently was given an old power mac 5500/225 from school and I guess when they deleted some programs they also removed some really important ones.Every time I try to open a file or install AOL is says that there is a missing file that is required to open the program. So I was wondering if there was a way to reset the computer or if there was a boot disk I could buy somewhere to restore these files. Please help.THANX
Apple provides old OS versions for free from their website. Unfortunately I can't find them at the moment, but I thought I saw a link to them in another thread around here.
