i restarted after a night's sleep and it gave me a frozen blue screen , i had to do a force hard restart

any ideas as to what could be causing this ?

i fear it may be a usb issue as i had a printer directly connected to my keyboard , rather than at the rear of the mac

odd considering intel invented usb

just hope it's not a sign of things to come with them , apple always made reliable good quality mobo's in my experience

If this has only happened once I wouldn't worry about it and I certainly don't think it has to do with your printer being plugged in via the keyboard instead of the back of the machine.

I also doubt Intel made the logic boards in the iMacs.
