Does any one know if the graphics card in the new Intel Mac Mini supports dual monitors?

Err.. I doubt it! How are you going to drive 2 screens from only 1 monitor port?
The worst thing about having a failing memory is..... no, it's gone.

i see that as a problem of the past... then again will the mini have the power to run a desktop that spans two monitors? Probably...

Given that the Mini now comes with crappy Intel-grated video, I doubt it.

I don't mean to be rude, but.. HELLO!! No amount of software jiggery pokery is going to make an extra monitor port appear on the back of a Mac Mini. As I said above, the Mac Mini has 1 port. Unlike many iMacs, eMacs and iBooks etc, which can use the Spanning Dr perfectly well.

The graphics chipset (GMA950) supports multiple displays of all sorts, but Apple only put one port on the mini so you're limited to one display.

There are USB 2.0 based video cards now, but currently they only support Windows, and also are limited to 1280x1024 resolution. Other then that, you only have a choice of the device linked above to turn one monitor port into two. And that still limits you a bit, as the combined resolution can't go above the Mini's 1920x1080 VGA limit.
