I've been running this G3 ibook 900 for about 3-4 years now, and I'm still extremely impressed with what can be done on it. I play World of Warcraft fairly well (level 30 NE), surf the internet with ease and manage over 2000 songs...however, I wanted a tad more power and a newer OS/PC...so I think the new Mini is for me.

Portability isn't an issue for me...cost is. I'm able to sell my ibook for $500 and I put that towards a new mini (intro level).


Will WoW run better? What would be the difference between a G3 and an Intel Core? I don't have the money for a nice iMac...so a small compromise isn't hurting me.


Will I see a significant change between my 4 year old laptop and the mini?

Dunno about WoW, but just about everything else which doesn't involve 3D gaming will run better. Actually, I'm guessing WoW *could* run better, since that G3 iBook has only a Radeon 7500 32 MB, and has an uber slow CPU.

We will just have to see...

Did anyone try WoW on those Intel development boxes? They had integrated graphics too.
