While watching a dvd on your intel imac is anyone hearing a noise every 10 seconds in the disc driive. its not loud at all, justa short creeky floorboard sorta or sound? Thanks

All optical drives do that.

it depends on how loud it is. if you can hear it over your movie i think it could be a problem.
