Kind of want to see if a 17" is big enough for my needs. I want to mask out the 20" I have at work but I need the actual screen size.

Can someone do me a big favour and measure the actual screen size of your iMac 17" G5/Intel?
Just the screen (not the bevel edges) in inches (horizontal x vertical)

Math is hard.

16 * sqrt((17 ^ 2) / ((10 ^ 2) + (16 ^ 2))) = 14.4 inches wide
10 * sqrt((17 ^ 2) / ((10 ^ 2) + (16 ^ 2))) = 9.01 inches tall

yea it s houldn't be so hard to recall this theory. i actually wondered the same when i was shopping for my dell 2405. But since we are americans and we now suck at math and science, peolple actually need help from others for basic stuff like this
