Hi,
I have a new PowerMac G5 with a HL-DT-ST DVD-RW GWA-4165B which is giving me this error (The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer.) everytime i insert a blank cd-r or dvd-r. However i have already burnt several CDs and DVDs of the same media yesterday, but since this morning i can't mount any blank disks?

Does any body have any advice?

forget about it, after a restart i noticed i had also lost my menubar items (spotlight, fast user switching, volume etc.) so i reinstalled OS X and its fine... for the moment
