Hey guys is it possible to change the brightness level via the keyboard on an eMac? I can change the contrast level by pressing F14(lowers) or F15(raises). I've searched this site, did a google search, checked apple support website, and nada couldn't find a thing.

I got into the brightness setting by accident today don't know what key I accidently pressed before I switched from Contrast to Brightness and it looks like the same keys adjust either the Contrast or Brightness.

It's the toggle key i'm missing. Btw I tried using a combination of Command, option and control and nothing.

Oh yeah I almost forget:
eMac G4 1.25ghz
512 mem
10.3.9

Thanks in advance !

why not just adjust it in System Prefs.

By the way, I like your thread title, its like your asking everyone if you have an emac question. Im not nagging, just noticing.

Thanks for the reply. I've gotten use to using the keyboard keys. It's very direct instead of calling up Sys Prefs, then clicking on display, change settings etc. How can I put this so subtly...I'm Lazy !

Oh i totally agree that the keys are easier to use. But since I couldnt offer the answer on how to get the F14&15 keys back to normal, I offered the layman solution.
