I have two questions for the members here:

1) Would you buy memory from this vendor?

2) What is the difference between the two memories I have linked? I see that one is 3.0CAS and the other 2.5CAS, but which CAS does Apple OEM memory have? Also, what real world impact will this change in CAS make?

1GB SO-DIMM DDR2-667 3.0CAS - $96.99

1GB SO-DIMM DDR2-667 2.5CAS - $129.99

1) No.

2) The difference is the timing that the RAM supports. The more agressive timings don't really increase performance (see Extreme Tech's recent comparison); save your money and get the 3.0.

I ordered 2x1GB for my iMac Core Duo through this company just now. A confirmation email was sent promptly, and I was still a bit leery so I called the phone numbe rlisted on their website. I spoke to a service representative and he confirmed my order and shipping information.

I also did some research with Google Maps and the BBB. The address and image of their office building on their website match what Google Maps displayed in the hybrid view. The BBB also confirmed their address and listed a total of only 3 complaints in the past 36 months. All 3 complaints were resolved.
