I'm looking for a USB switch/box to use my peripherals with a new Mac mini as well as my pc. I will be using a keyboard and mouse (so mouse and keyboard emulation would be needed) as well as a couple of USB peripherals (printer, TV tuner) some of which are/need usb2 (so USB2 is needed) in total I've got a minimum of four devices to share between a Mac and PC (all USB devices work on both platforms) the reason I'm not automatically buying a KVM switch (If I was I'd buy a belkin flip switch) is that my LCD has dual monitor inputs, so it should be cheaper if I use them, although switching audio might be a problem.
Does anyone know off or have anysuggestions for such a device?

I don't know if this is what you are looking for :

All it is a USB KVM from belkin, but in theory, could you not attach a powered hub to one of the USB ports on the KVM, plug all you stuff into the hub, and have it switch for you using the KVM? I don't know if it will work, but theory says it should....

Thnx for the reply, I've come across this KVM, it has two probs though, 1; it is a display switch (something I don't need with my dual input LCD display) and 2; it's only works at USB 1.1 device speeds, not USB 2.0 as I need (although it does have mice and keyboard emulation and so works with these devices). I also had thought of attaching a USB hub for devices on a switches port's too. So were getting closer to what I'm after; A USB only switch (although audio could be useful).

Buy one of these for each device.
Or buy one of these (trade more money for less clutter).

The printer can be shared over the network instead of USB switching it.
What TV tuner do you have that works with Macs and PCs?

Your right I think about the printer, should of thought of that, the cross platform USB 2.0 tv device is from Terractec (with pc software)and works with EyeTV if it's bought seperatley (you can buy it direct from Elgato with the Mac software if you wish)-

I've also seen the Belkin switch for up to 4 machines before, it's probably overkill for what I need, the other usb switch has the basic funcitonality I require I think (usb 2.0 but not sure about keyboard/mouse compatibility/emulation) but astheticaly isn't quite what I'm looking for, maybe in the end I will just buy the-
