Can I put a PC video card in my 667 G4 and will it work or fry the motherboard?

what kind of PC card is it?
There are a few cards that you can flash with Mac Firmware to essentially give you a Mac card, but it's no guarantee.
Rather than fry your MB, a non compatible card is more likely to simply not work.

No, it will not work.
No, it probably won't fry the logic board either.

Either take the risk of flashing it (may work, may turn into a paperweight) or pay the Mac tax.

These guys know the most about Mac vid card flashing/conversion:
http://strangedogs.proboards40.com/

Make sure you know what kind of vid card and do some searching before you ask questions there, though. They are sort of snobby!

/edit: heh. I'm also from South Jersey.

Yeah, strangedogs is got a heap of info on flashing. Generally, there needs to be a Mac version of the card (like a Radeon 9700 or Geforce 5200FX). And you will either need a mac with a PC video card and AGP slot (or vice versa if the card to be flashed is a PCI), or a PC. It depends on whether there are Mac flashing tools available.

The easiest cards to flash are the Radeon 7000 and the GeForce 2MX and GeForce 3. The more recent cards get quite tricky, and can involve hardware mods. If you are comfortable with a soldering iron and surface mount work, then it will be a cinch.

Generally, if you make a problem flashing, you can just flash it back to its PC state and there will be no problems. But I am guessing that this card is probably only 30USD anyways, so jump in and try it out
