Hello

Got a couple of questions about the mac mini. Im going/coming to America on holiday soon and thinking about buying a Mac Mini in place of my PC. Im really new to macs and havent got much experience using them. So a few questions.

1 Can you open MS Office documents in Mac office that were created in PC office?

2 I like watching Divx films, will these play on a mac, is there a real player for example that allows these to be used?

3 Can you get an external hard drive as 80 gig may be too small?

4 Will it work with my existing TFT monitor?

5 What are the graffic capabilities like? Will games work?

6 is there a wireless network card installed. Will it be easy to network to other PCs?

Cheers for the help

Tobin

2. Yes.

3. Yes.

4. Yes.

5. Fair to poor (especially with the new Intel mini)

6. Yes - WIFI and Bluetooth built-in; should be easy, but some people run into snags at times

The new Mini should work fine for you unless you want to play any current 3D intensive games. Other than that, it will do everything that (you need) you asked about without a problem.

Games that are not universal may be unplayable. Games that are universal may not be a whole lot better.
