Is this a question of how well the game runs on the Mini's hardware, how well it runs on XP using the Mini's hardware, or something else?

I'm guessing "B" is the right answer. Please make sure you use a more descriptive subject when you post-something like "Can a Mini Handle Empire At War while running XP?" would have been a lot better.

And please note that if you're more interested in what software can do than what it can do on a particular Mac, you should post in the Applications forum. This is why I asked my first question above.

I thought my question was pretty self explanatory since Empire@war only runs on XP and I stated that I was interested in the performance on a macmini. Therefore your questions A and B are infact the same.

Sorry for any ambiguity in my question.

Take what I have to say with a grain of salt but, there are no video drivers right now when booting XP on any Intel Mac so I'd say any 3D graphics intensive game will not run... or at least run painfully slow.

OK I stand corrected possibly... there's a video I just saw on YouTube of a Mac mini booting into XP and launching Halo 2. While it appeared to probably only be getting 15 FPS that means though that there has to be some drivers out now someone got working for the video card.

Looks like they have XP video card drivers for the Mini now. They're running Half-Life 2 and it looks pretty good. I wonder their settings are...

So What are people's opinion to running XP on the mini. I'm in need for a windows machine and to be honest the mini fits that need very nicely. Its going to be setup as a file and print server.
