Hey guys, my eMac G4 1.25ghz has been rock solid since the day I bought. Last week I started having problems sort of and they've been getting worse like once or twice a day.

It's a video problem which concerns me my analog video board maybe going out. If it is I know it's not worth repairing as it's out of warranty so i'll be looking at a Mac Mini or iMac.

Ok here's the problem. Everything will be fine and then the screen shrinks uniformaly as if the power cord was pulled for a split second and the screen pops back to normal. I thought ok maybe the power cord was loose or had a bad spot.

Here's what i've tried so far:
1) Wiggled the power cord at both ends with the machine powered up (No Effect)
2) I took apart my eMac and tightened all of my ground screws that were visible.

So far I haven't noticed anymore problems but I don't think that was the solution in Step#2 as I fear the problem will come back.

Any ideas or suggestions from the experts?

TIA Guys !

Rodster
