Has anyone had this problem, or know why, or have a solution? I've totally reinstalled OSX and all updates for my Mac Mini, but now when I turn off, or restart (from the apple menu) the computer seems to switch off, but the light remains & then it never even reboots! So, I have to press & hold the on/off button to get it to come back on again.

Once again, I really would appreciate anything from the forum at all.

Are you able to run the Hardware test CD that came with it? Maybe that can shed some light on the problem. The way the problem has persisted over a reinstall would suggest it's a hardware problem. Is there a local Apple Store or retailer you can take the Mini to?
