Can anyone point me in the direction of getting new iMac slot load plastics, besides ebay? I just picked up a slot-load iMac (500mhz, white power button) and the plastics for it are totally destroyed (but the mac itself runs great!) I'm not even sure what search terms I should be using to look...I'm a geek so I just call them plastics Thanks.

Maybe seach for a DEAD (BROKEN, DAMAGED etc) iMac and use the case, or seach for CASE, BODY etc

True, but a dead iMac would be a lot of dead weight too, and shipping would cost a fortune vs. just the plastics I did find one on ebay with a picture of a slot-loader listing it as a 233mhz machine...either the description is wrong or the pictures are

Being more specific than "the plastics" would help. Try searching for a shop manual for the model you have to get the correct name for each part. "The plastics" could cover a LOT of parts!

Well the entire outer plastics set is what I need, bottom, top, and front.

But, to be more specific:

Top Rear Housing
Front Outer Bezel
Bottom Housing
Cover, VGA Out, Vented
RAM Access Door

The above would constitute an entire outer shell plastics set

Glassvial, where do you live i have a G3 iMac case slot loader (600 Graphite) that is sitting in the spare room. If you are in the UK you are welcome to it as my plan to turn it into an aquarium is never going to happen. You can collect or i will calculate postage once its stripped down.

I'm in the US, NY to be more specific. Shipping could possibly be prohibitively expensive
