Hello every one... This is my first Mac computer.. It's a IMac 333 G3 its running great but the only problem im having is that I Can't change any of the settings in the control panel etc.> It said they are locked... !! Is there any way or a program that I could reset the password without reformating ? I know I can do it with windows XP... The OS is 9.2.. The computer looks like it came from a school.. I got the complete computer from a Good Will for $19.00 I Always wanted to try a Mac

If you got it from a school and haven't reformatted since you got it, then it's probably got some administrative restrictions on it. You might have to reformat to reset them, I don't know. I've only ever used 8.5 and 10.4
