Hi, All:

I'm new here, so I hope my question is in the right section.

Well, I tried to replace an ATA hard drive in an iMac.
The Trouble is that the CD-rom drive and the hard drive both are set on master. I looked for the part where one should change it , but I only see little square blocks the look wooden, but they dont move, there is not anything like the hard drive that has pins with jumpers to move.

The computer will only start-up with a my Norton CD-rom, but will not start-up from a back-up cd-rom with system 9.1. If there is a way to get the Cd-rom on slave. or is there another way to get the imac to start up from the hard drive.
