hello

would anyone know what what would be the faster of the two

a Powermac G4 (AGP) with an upgraded 1.2GZ processor

or a

G4 Dual 867Mhz?

or is there not much of a difference?

The dual, without question, for most tasks. Two processors let the system stay responsive even if one CPU is totally tapped out.

I agree, a tower design 'asks' for a dual cpu. It is like having a lot of torque from a car engine.
