Hi

it probably wouldn't. If the processor runs at 1.25GHz on a 167MHz bus, the bus multiplier on the CPU daughter card must be set to 7.5 (7.5 * 166.6MHz = 1.25GHz).

Installed on a logic board with a 133MHz bus, it would probably run at 1.0GHz (7.5 * 133.3MHz).

AFAIK Apple doesn't sell logicboards to regular, only to businesses which are repairing Macs. Even if you did get your hands on one, it would be very expensive.

Try Preowned Electronics (preowned.com). I had a 133 MHz logic board die, and they hooked me up with a replacement. You need to sign up for an account before you can see their prices, but they compare favorably to Apple's (private) prices.
