Hi.

When i reset my PRAM in my sawtooth, (sig) when it boots up, the apple logo shows for a sec then turns into a stop/prohibitary sign (like you see on roads, for no entry) and nothing happens. i restart with alt held down, select my OS X HD, and it boots, from then on normally.

is this normal?
how can i fix this?

thanks for any help

Open up the Startup Disk control panel and select your normal HD. It will remember the startup disk from then on.

Resetting PRAM makes it forget the default startup disk.
