I have just purchased this and have been using it for the last 6 hours. Im upgrading from a g4, 350mhz tower.

What a beautiful machine!!! it has only 512mb ram, yet it feels so snappy. I cant believe it. And it is mouse silent! After having the fans from my tower whirl away all this time, it seems a little strange.

I had been thinking to change over to a pc for price considerations, and had been looking for the last month. Then this morning, i thought about it and decided i will give the i mac a go.

Now that it is sitting on my desk, with a 20inch display (yeah), i am so happy i got this machine.

I will try to update this in a few days for further impressions, but from what i can see so far, i dont think ill have anything but praise to add.

Im going to be looking for lots of help on this forum as my upgrade is both machine and OS. ive been using OS9x up until today

I was going to ask why you were considering switching to a PC, but since you mention you've only been on OS 9 this whole time it's not that difficult to understand.
