I guess I'm just looking for opinions...

So does the recent processor upgrades on the macbook pro indicate that the price of the core duos went down in anticipation for the new 2.33 ghz?

If so do you think the iMac will similarly be upgraded to the 2.16 ghz soon?
Or, historically, is Apple more likely to wait until a more substantial update (ie merom)?

i don't think it matters too much

apple hit the sweet spot with the dc 2 ghz

it's an amazing bit of kit , i should know , i bought one !

i'm keeping this for the next 3 years and then i'll upgrade

it's THAT much faster than my previous mac !!!!
