Hello,

I'm new to the forum and have a question. I have I trusty Beige G3MT with a 400Mhz G3 processor. I will be arecieving a B&W G3/300Mhz in a few hours. Can I swap the 400 zif from the MT into the B&W. This is a temporary fix until I get the PowerLogix 1ghz for the B&W. Will this work? I will open the MT to get the model # of the Zip later in the day.

I took a Sonnet G3/500 and moved it to my B&W and took the zif from the B&W G3/400 and put it in the beige. The beige booted first time without issues but remember you have to set the jumper block in the B&W for the speed of the zif to get it to run at the correct speed.
