I just brought home a new Mac Mini 1.5 icore solo 1gb ram...And I can't get it to work with my monitor using DVI.

I can use the DVI->VGA adapter and use a normal VGA cable (with same monitor) but can't get it to work just using the DVI cable...Nothings wrong with the DVI cable, it works fine on my PB12" (minidvi->dvi)


Anyone had any experience with this or noticed a similar problem?

Like I said..It "works" fine...but I really want to use DVI since i have a PC which uses the VGA cable (and monitor allows switching between the two.)

I"ve tried only one plugged in, etc...The problem I can only guess lies in the Mac Mini's inability to detect the monitor 'detect displays' because my PB12" detects it fine, etc...
