I was looking at this:
http://poweron.com/itemdesc.asp?Cart...RCEFX&tpc=

can I use this PCI card with my MDD g4?

someone here told me it doesn't matter what it says, it will work. I doubt it.

Finding a Mac compatabile retail card can be tricky. If you're prepared for a bit of a gamble, look at what high-end cards could be BTOed when it was new, and see if you can pick up any cards with the same chipset - hopefully the Mac drivers won't realise the difference. Otherwise, eBay is a good bet.

I think it's more of a case of the card needing to have a mac bios so that it can work with open firmware. Hopefully the days of mac compatible cards will be gone with Intel.

MDD has 4 64bit 33MHz PCI slots and 1 AGP 4X slot. The AGP 4X slot has higher bandwidth than the PCI slots, allowing better performance for an AGP video card there than a PCI slot.
