Always connected at 46.6 or 48 with my G4 iMac. New iMac with the USB external modem will only connect at 45.3 at best. It also takes 2 tries to get this speed. The first time I connect, it will connect at 33.6 most of the time and sometimes less. Disconnect and connect again and it will give me 45.3.

Help or thought appreciated......Rich

Canadianapex, I just gave up and am using an Airport Extreem I had not used lately. Connects every time and at 46.6 or 48.

Good luck.....Rich
