superdrive not reading DVD's

Hey all,

I've got a Dual 2GHz PowerMac G5 (the first gen). For about the past 2 months, my superdrive has been ejecting DVD's when I put them into the drive. They don't even mount before they eject. Any ideas on what the problem could be? Do I need a new superdrive? (hopefully not)
