Just a few weeks after the warranty period expired, a 3/4" vertical bar of noise appeared on my LCD screen from the bottom all the way to the top. The weird thing about it is that the ambient light sensor, on the bottom bezel, is dead center in this bar. This tells me it or its interaction with the logic board and/or power supply may be the culprit. Anyone else have any experience with this strange behavior?
