Moderators, please move this thread to the Powerbook forum. Thank you, dg

I'm new to the forum but have been a Mac user for years. I've a 1ghz titanium that I picked up for a great price. With that great price came a cracked upper and lower case, and broken hinges. My question is, are the guts of the 667/800mhz DVI PBs similar enough that I can put in the newer 1ghz DVI MB, HD and other goodies? From the pics I've seen it looks like the heatsink *may* be slightly different on the oldermodel, but spec-wise it looks like it would work.

Any thoughts?

Also, if the internals aren't close enough, wouldn't the actual cases (sans heatsink, PRAM, power button, speakers, etc.) be identical?

Thanks!
Dave
