Are you a UK buyer??

Just noticed a price drop on Apple's web site this morning (Sorry if this is old news):

Mac Mini - starting from £399 - I'm sure thios was £449 before.
iMac - £879 and £1129 - sure the 20" was £1229

I bought a 20" intel iMac in Feb, this is £100 cheaper!! There has been a bit of news about the drop in processor prices. Looks like some of this might be handed onto consumers. Not worried about having missed out on the price drop, having the iMac for the last 3 months was worth the extra £100!

Have US prices dropped too, or have Apple woken to the fact that they have overcharged UK consumers for far too long?

There has also been price drops at the canada apple store ($100 on the 20"iMac). Probably ajusting for currency changes, since the US dollar has been dropping lately.

The Mac mini, iMac, 2GB and 4GB nano prices also dropped at the Swiss Apple Store.

I'm guessing it's rather due to the weak USD.

Thats a different thing, Airport base station, eMac and iSight will go next month because of new Hazardous Material regulations in Europe.

Look after my manor, or I will bum you, literally, to death.
