help finding that cool cd desktop app?

i remember long before i owned an imac that somebody had created an application which when installed showed an actual cd or dvd being inserted on the desktop of the imac once one was installed in the side of the most recent designed imacs. ive tried searching with no results...does anybody know what its called?
