I am looking at some Power Mac G4 AGP Sawtooths that are for sale in my area, specifically the 450mghz model. The one that I am thinking about getting has 128mb of RAM and 20gb HD, basically stock except the HD. It also comes with a USB floppy reader, original keyboard and mouse, and powercord. They want $199 for it. Is this a good price? There is also a couple for sale in Denver that I am going to look at. For a bit more, but they have more RAM, which doesn't matter to me, since I have a bunch of ram lying around.

When I bought my Sawtooth, it was stock except 256mb or ram and a dvd player without any burning ability, a 19" Sony CRT, and APC CS350 battery backup.

I paid $150.

i think you could find them cheaper than 199.

on ebay i see them go for around 100, sometimes under, pretty regularly. (then add 40 for shipping)

i paid $135 for mine (after tax, i bought it thru ebay and picked it up locally) and it was all stock, but it was missing the hard drive. But I bought mine almost a year ago.

Hey guys thanks. Right now on eBay the cheapest BIN seems to be $149. ( http://cgi.ebay.com/Apple-g4-450-mhz...QQcmdZViewItem)
But with shipping to my ZIP it is about $189, so I think I would just get the one for sale at the local Mac Store since it is just $199. ( http://www.voelkerresearch.com/ click on consignments then desktops) The 20 gig HD is important right now too, since it will be a while until I install a new one.
