Hi,

I've done a search on here but I haven't found specific answer to my problem. I currently have an older iMac (May 2005) and I have a mini-VGA port.

I have recently bought a cinema display as a second monitor and I'm wondering if it would work with the hack Screen Spanning hack if I connect a the mini-VGA adapter to a vga/dvi adapter to the Cinema Display.

Has anyone tried this or knows if this would work? Any help is much appreciated. Hopefully I don't need to return this monitor.

Thanks!
