Hey everything on my mac has wiped including images and videos.
The main thing which is music has been wiped also howevefr its all on my ipod is there anyway i can get it from my ipod on to itunes again?
Please help im lost at the minute!

how did it get wiped. your mac cant just power up one day with default settings.

it stopped on me. Was sort of running quiet a few programs held th power button down to start it up again and it was wiped...

maybe your iphoto, itunes and other settings have been damaged, or your HD has been. have you looked in the location of the music and videos to see if they are there?

im sorry ot good at going through the system if you mean go music>>itunes>>songs well there isnt any folders or anything in the music folder?

Oh well then go to Finder> your hd name> Users and there will be your old user.

Yep you just drag your Library, Movies, Music, Photos, and whatever else you need like desktop from the old user into the Library of the new user.
