What video cards do you think it will have and do you think it will be a smaller form factor than the current Powermac G5?

I think it will have the same that it does now, maybe with a 256 mb NVIDIA card standard. And I think it will be a bit smaller.

256 mb NVIDIA card standard
Its more like apple to make the lower end machine with a crappy graphics card.

I would want a smaller form factor at the expense of expandability and potential features. Will they? I would venture a guess that it would be within Apple's philosophy to shrink it if they could. As for the graphics cards, I don't really care what comes standard as long as SLI is supported!

Small form factor == iMac/mini
Expandability == PowerMac/MacPro
I could imagine it'll get a little smaller (only because the current line is so freakin' big), but I don't think anyone will see it and say "Wow, that's small!"

Why on earth does everyone focus on vram as the measure of graphics card power? I'll trade someone a 256MB 6800 for a 128MB 7800

It doesn't look good for Apple to have a graphics card with more vram in the iMac available then standard on the professional Mac, the Power Mac.

It may not look good but it's standard practice.

Mini-ATX! Haha, that would just suck. Imagine maxing out the 16 gigs of ram in a mini-atx case!

AI mentioned that those were unconfirmed and pretty much wrong specs. I wouldn't trust any spec that a rumor site tries to discredit.

I really hope they go with a new form factor to separate the new Intel macs. Even though they didn't with the iMac, Mini, or MBP...
