I have a dual 1.25 GHZ G4 (mirrored doors) with one DVI-out and one ADC-out. I currently have a 17" Sony LCD hooked up to the DVI out via the DVI-VGA adaptor which came with the mac, and the ADC out is free. I want to hook up my 32" LCD TV to the second output for video and audio work, but my TV only takes VGA as a PC input. I'm wondering if anyone knows if i could run an apple ADC-DVI adaptor...

(see at: http://store.apple.com/133-622/WebOb...plm=T2774G%2FA )

...and then subsequently an apple DVI-VGA adaptor...

(see at: http://store.apple.com/133-622/WebOb...plm=M8754G%2FA )

to convert an ADC signal to a VGA signal. A bit messy i know but would this work? I've heard something about DVI-I vs DVI-D and am also wondering whether this will be an issue. I'd appreciate any help you can give!!

You can get ADC-VGA adaptors. I've got one hooked up right now and it works fine. No need for the two-step process.

Why not just get a Dr. Bott ADC to VGA adapter? http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPL...lm=T5566LL%2FA

One adapter is better than two.

I can vouch for this very product. Plugged it in to the ADC port on my G5's ATI 9600, and it just worked. No muss, no fuss.
