Well, as evidenced by my missing signature, my cube web server is dead. It's a 450/20GB/1.25GB unit that's been working for me for the past couple months. It was working fine then suddenly this morning I noticed it had shut off. Nothing I did would turn it back on. I tried a different power supply, and that didn't work either. Nothing at all happens when I touch the 'button' area. Any ideas?

Have you tried a keyboard with a power button? I've heard of the button on the cube failing sometimes.

Okay, nevermind. Looks like it was a bad power outlet. Phew, crisis averted!

Ahh. I've done that before too with my surround sound. Brought it home set it up and it didn't work. Then I remebered that the outlet was controlled by a light switch.

Whatcha running on your Cube as a server? My Cube has been sitting unused ever since I moved to Intel-based Macs. It's currently sitting on a shelf, just looking pretty

I once nearly cracked open a laptop because of a outlet with a light switch.

"What is wrong with this thing!"
