I was reloading the iMac with OS 10.4 and got a kernal panic. I was using the bluetooth mouse and keyboard. Could this be the problem. I rebooted the machine and it booted fine and I did all of the updates and when it rebooted it started to boot and restarted again (I think its the firmware upgrade) but then now it just boots to the white screen with the Apple logo. I already had it reloaded once with my data transferred but decided to just wipe it clean.

Should I be worried about a hardware issue?
