i finally upgraded from my old dalmation 550mhz G3 imac (running 10.2.8) to a brand spankin new 20" intel. The problem is, when i use target disk mode to transfer files, i get the blue screen and firewire symbol on the old imac, but no drive pops up on the desktop of the new imac.

is there any known issue regarding my situation? Is it possible that when i replaced the hard drive in the old imac, something could have gone wrong?

thank you,
Peter
