Second: how is it done?
I like my water with hops, malt, hops, yeast, and hops.

worth it: probably not, unless you can afford to buy a replacement cpu card, and/or are just using this computer for experimentation. A 50mhz jump is only a 10% increase in raw speed, which is not that great, you may or may not notice much difference.

also remember that each individual chip has it's own tolerance for o/c'ing. a rare few will go up as far as 40%, others are lucky to take 10%.......

I took my 400 up to 500. It was definitely worth it. If you are good at soldering, it doesn't hurt trying. Normally you can't blow the CPU by OCing it without voltage modding it. You just have to be able to solder it back to normal.
