just bought an iMac on saturday and i want to upgrade the memory to 2gb. can anyone recommend me a good brand/model? thanks.

It has to be Crucial. Not the cheapest I know but in my experience the most reliable.

Anything from macsales.com. I don't think that Crucial is worth the extra money since most RAM from OWC has a lifetime warranty. I have a 512Mb stick from them in my iMac and PowerBook.

You can also hit newegg.com and shop around for some bargains as well. I picked up some nice memory for my mini there - performs well, stable and was cheap.
24 inch iMac 2.4, 320GB HD, 4 GB RAM
500 GB Ext FW Drv, 120 GB Ext FW Drv

ah look any were personally i dont care what the brand is just look on ebay or something they usually have brand new stuff

I had such a problem reading the above, I had to decode it and write it in the clear so that future readers wouldn't have to suffer as i did.

Real message reads:

"Ah, look anywhere! Personally, I don't care what the brand is, just look on ebay or something. They usually have brand new stuff".

iMac - C2D, 2.8Ghz, 4GB, 320GB
