More RAM is a good place to start. www.macsales.com is a great place to buy RAM for your iMac.

Yup, max out the RAM to 1 GB if you can and get a bigger and faster HDD too. Good Luck.

I upgraded my iMac G3 DV SE 400mhz about 6-8 months ago. Put in the maximum 1GB RAM and a new 80GB 7200 RPM hard drive. Also added an original AirPort 802.11b card...this things runs great now, and I am running Tiger 10.4.7

Macsales.com (Other World Computing) is an excellent place to find reasonably priced upgrades for your iMac, as imitchellg5 pointed out above...their service has always been excellent, and everything works as advertised. I bought my RAM from them, but purchased my HD locally at CompUSA when they wre running a crazy sale and rebate which made the drive very cheap. My wireless card I found on eBay for about $50 or so...

Hang on to that iMac - it's a good machine, even after all these years...at the very least, it can be a second or third computer...

Are you in Canada? That hard drive will work just fine, and the memory should also work fine. The iMac only needs PC100 RAM, but PC133 will fall back correctly and work. If you get 256MB chips, you can put two of them in, giving you 512MB total.

Other World Computing has the 256MB chips for $25 ea, which is half the price of the place you linked to. Their 80GB Hitachi (formerly IBM TravelStar, very good) drive is $50...if you're in Canada, maybe they can ship it to you...

Hope this helps ya out!
