tiny cable in powermac d1.8 - what is it?

i opened my dual 1.8 to clean the dust out and i noticed a tiny tiny cable that sits behind the minispeaker/fan assy. anyone know what it is?

there are two little wires with ends that look like the airport holes on the back of the machine
