So I just got an iMac and I tried downloading Soulseek today and it asked me for an application. I didn't know what to do. Can I even use these programs or do I need to find something for my iMac to play MP3s from programs like Soulseek and Limewire.

Also, I had to upgrade versions of comic relief and msn messenger and now I have two programs of each. Do I have to delete the old one or can't the computer do this itself?

For the Soulseek, I am going to assume you downloaded the windows version. I believe that is one of the few times Mac will ask you for an application to open the file. If it's an .exe you can't use it.


As for the two program question, I'm not exactly sure. It should overrite the previous version unless you didn't do an upgrade within the program, then you may have two seperate versions.
